Choose what is saved and where
Find saved dark web research chats, control the context used for follow-up questions, and choose Browser, Temporary or opt-in Cloud storage.
This session only
Choose Temporary when you want the transcript to stay in this tab only. Refreshing or closing the tab loses it. The server still processes the question, selected context and answer for delivery and retains the credit receipt. Temporary mode does not mean no server processing.
Saved in this browser
New guest chats save in this browser by default. Existing explicit storage choices stay in effect. Use the sidebar to find, rename, pin or archive a chat. Browser history stays in this browser profile; someone using the profile can read it, and clearing browser data removes it. Exported files are separate copies.
Cloud is opt-in
Sign in and explicitly enable Cloud before choosing it for new chats. Existing browser history is not uploaded automatically. Saving or importing an existing chat is a separate action. If saving fails, the answer remains visible and its receipt is not withheld.
Memory and deletion
Saving chats and saving memory are separate choices. In Context & memory, review selected earlier messages and explicitly choose any saved preferences or linked chat excerpts for a question. Retrieved pages cannot enable memory. You can inspect, edit or delete preferences in Settings. Context used shows the items selected for a run and any omissions; larger conversations may use version-checked excerpts. Deleting saved content blocks stale writes and future use. Exported files remain separate copies.
