How to choose a source mode, read what a citation actually supports, understand source-only and no-evidence results, and reconnect without paying twice.
How do I search on the dark web?
Type a specific question, choose Web, Onion or Web + Onion, then select Search. Enter creates a new line rather than submitting. An example fills the composer but does not run it. Web + Onion permits both kinds of source and the response tells you which actually contributed; Onion-only has no web fallback.
While it runs
The quote expires if not accepted in time. A busy queue is rejected before a hold. Stop requests cancellation; completion and cancellation have one terminal winner. If the connection drops, reconnect to the existing job instead of starting a fresh paid request.
Why is an answer marked source-only?
Source-only means relevant references were found but no composed answer met the configured checks. Read the references directly; they are the evidence, and the label is telling you that the service declined to summarise beyond them. If you expected more, supply a missing date, name or identifier and search again, or check Coverage and limitations to see whether the sources you need were enabled at all.
After it finishes
Inspect a source to read the passage and its version. A citation does not guarantee truth or currentness. Check Coverage and limitations. Refine missing dates, names or ambiguous terms when the answer is source-only or has no evidence.
Follow-up questions
A chat can send its last two question-and-answer turns with your next question, within an 8,192-byte context limit. Start a new chat to leave that context out. Short follow-ups use the earlier question for discovery; earlier answers and source text are untrusted context, not evidence or permission to perform actions.
